Lt. Baines: Xtro II - The Second Encounter 1990

Lt. Baines is a young officer who is obviously very much in love with life. He is sent as part of a squad to a secret government facility, where an alien lifeform has broken through to this dimension and is steadily eating the inmates.

His first introduction to the creature is when it devours his new girlfriend. Narrowly escaping himself, the unfortunate Baines finds himself in charge of the platoon, and must hunt the creature down to destroy it before it can reach the surface and wreak havoc.

He does this in the best Rambo style.

Although Nick doesn't get billing, Lt. Baines plays a significant role in this (admittedly) terrible movie.
