Dustin Yarma: Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye - Fox 1999

Dustin is the Hollywood producer who had it all - house, girl, car, connections - even his own parking spot at the studio - and then lost it all.

Because of his failure to care about or empathize with others, he doesn't do much checking when he wakes up on a beach beside an apparently dead girl and instead takes the word of the drifter who tells him she's dead, immediately grabbing his cell to call his lawyer, rather than checking to see if she's dead, or if he can help her in any way.
