Herbert: Moving Malcolm Movie - October, 2003

Herbert is a dance instructor, and also Gene's best friend. Gene is still in love with his manipulative ex, and Herbert is very anxious to make sure that Gene gets over her. He employs tough love in a series of scenes that make one wince for poor Gene.

Nick and Ben Ratner have been friends for years, and Ben wrote the part especially for Nick. It shows off his comedic timing to perfection.
