Victor Mansfield: John Woo's Once A Thief -1997-8

Victor Mansfield had always wanted to be a cop when he was growing up. He got his wish, but becamed dissillusioned and bitter when he found himself framed and jailed by corrupt fellow officers in whom he'd placed his trust.

He ends up working for a shadowy black ops agency run by the lovely Director in Leather, who gets him out of jail. He gets partnered with a woman, LiAnn, and eventually falls in love and becomes engaged to her. Her ex-lover, Mac Ramsey, turns up and is recruited into the Agency and joins the their partership, making it a trio. Eventually, Li Anne "postpones" her engagement to Vic, but the three remain partners.

Vic is the oldest of the three partners and Mac often accuses him of being a "stick in the mud", seeming to garner some pleasure by goading Vic. He often wears lovely tight jeans and a black leather jacket and has an earring in his left ear. Vic is by turns, funny, sad, philosophical, angry and boy can he pout!

Once a Thief is an amusing, action-oriented show. We get to see Nick do tons 'o stunts and lots of smiling ... Oh, did I mention how well he pouts?
